This article was mainly about the advances of digital literature. Today, almost all books, articles, newspapers, ect., are available online or in a digital form. This article explores the new inventions and innovations that keep coming out and helping the new generations explore hard literature right from their computers. Inventions such as Amazon's Kindle has now made it possible to carry hundreds of books right on a simple little hand-held devise.
In this article, the author Colin Hogan is arguing that people today prefer the latest technological advances as to the old methods of reading literature. His purpose of writing this was to convey examples of ways new technology has made it easier for students, and people to travel and use hand held electronics instead of hauling around books. I think this article is directed towards younger generations who are influenced more by technology and understand. Many schools have also turned to digital literature providing digital copies of books for students.
